HALIFAX – Halifax police say there has been another incident where a nail was discovered embedded in a potato.
The latest report came in May 23 from an employee at the Atlantic Superstore on Quinpool Road.

The employee found the nail while sorting through backs of Farmers Market brand potatoes, which were recalled after similar incidents in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
No injuries were reported.
Halifax Regional Police say anybody who finds metal objects in potatoes should not throw anything out and report the incident.
