TORONTO — Fairfax Financial Holdings said the company and two senior executives are under investigation by Quebec’s securities regulator for alleged insider trading in connection with the 2012 takeover by Resolute Forest Products of Fibrek.
Fairfax said it is co-operating with the investigation and believes it did not engage in any illegal activity.
