At around 11 a.m., police were called to Algorithme Pharma when a person reportedly had difficulties breathing after opening a package.
When a second person reported similar symptoms, police took the decision to evacuate the entire building, located at 575 Armand Boulevard.
According to officials, 19 people came in contact with the suspicious package.
Although they no longer presented symptoms, two people were transported to hospital for further evaluation, and several others were treated with chemical baths by firefighters at the scene.
