WINNIPEG — The skywalk between the Delta Winnipeg Hotel and the convention centre remains closed Wednesday ahead of Game 4 of the Winnipeg Jets-Anaheim Ducks NHL playoff game.
The city closed the walkway when it noticed newly laid tile was peeling, a sign of movement in the structure, city officials told CJOB Tuesday.
City staff couldn’t say when the skywalk will be fixed and reopen. They’re still looking into how to fix the structure.
Jets fans, who often use the skywalk system to get to the MTS Centre for games, will have to use alternate routes Wednesday.
