KELOWNA – You could call it the case of the dumped dump-truck.
Glenmore Road in north Kelowna was reduced to single-lane, alternating traffic Thursday afternoon after a dump-truck tipped over on its side, spilling a load of Nature’s Gold fertilizer.
The driver apparently was late in noticing south-bound vehicles had stopped in front of him to turn left off of Glenmore Road..
He slammed on the brakes and swerved to avoid a rear-end collision.
The maneuver flipped the truck.
Police say the driver, who was shaken up but unhurt, won’t be ticketed as he didn’t hit anything.
