WATCH: Montreal fan jam jammed before first game

MONTREAL — The “Fan Jam” is the fan festival held ahead of every Montreal Canadiens home playoff game.

It’s been moved to a new location this year, away from its traditional site on the streets in front of the Bell Centre to a lot at the corner of Peel and St. Jacques Streets.

BY THE NUMBERS: The Brutus Bar’s ‘Bacon Cup’

The event opens three hours before every home game (4 p.m. for 7 p.m. starts) and offers a wide array of activities, including a 60-foot illuminated Ferris wheel, a live DJ and band, drinks and BBQ-style food provided by La Cage aux Sports, free Canadiens-themed haircuts by Notorious and Habs-themed permanent tattoos by Adrenaline, not to mention a mechanical bull, a face-painting booth, an alumni autograph tent and Youppi!
