TORONTO – Toronto police have charged an officer with failing to stop at a scene of car crash earlier this week.
Police say Constable Brandon Polak, 35, was involved in a collision at Adelaide Street East near Jarvis Street at 8 p.m. when he allegedly drove away.

The accused was off-duty at the time of the offence. No one was injured in the incident.
Polak, who works for the police drug squad, is scheduled to appear in court April 29.
