KELOWNA – A youthful armed robbery suspect has surrendered himself to Kelowna RCMP.
He’s accused of brandishing a knife while wearing a mask to take cigarettes from a Bernard Avenue 7-11 store at about 2:00 a.m. Monday.

A customer was cut on his hand during a struggle with the robber.
Police say the 17-year-old suspect has been released on bail on charges of robbery and disguise with intent.
As a young offender, his name can’t be publicly released.
