TORONTO — Canadian comedy group The Kids in the Hall are going on tour — and kicking it off in the city where it all began.
The troupe will do four shows at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall from April 23 to 26 before taking the show to Hamilton, Ont. (April 27) and then to a string of U.S. cities.
Tickets for the Toronto show go on sale March 6 via Ticketmaster.
Promoters promise more Canadian dates will be announced soon.
The Kids in the Hall — Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson — will perform new material and reprise some of their most characters for classic sketches.
The ensemble originally appeared on TV from 1988 to 1995 and in the 1996 movie Brain Candy. They returned to TV in 2010 for the mini-series Death Comes to Town.
