HAMILTON – Charges have been laid in the case of a Hamilton-area man whose body was found a month after he went missing last year.

Nineteen-year-old Harmanjit Singh went missing on Oct. 27 and his body was found about in a flood basin in Stoney Creek a month later.
Hamilton police say 37-year-old Dashminder Deol has been arrested and is charged with manslaughter and offering an indignity to human remains.
Police say their investigation continues.
