Saskatoon woman wins car in Tim Hortons roll up the rim contest

SASKATOON – Most people usually find a free coffee or donut when they have a winner with Tim Hortons roll up the rim to win contest. For a Saskatoon woman, rolling up the rim landed her behind the wheel of a new car.

“I’ve heard of people winning it but I never really thought they gave away 50 cars,” said Jessica Landrie.

“But other than that, I had no idea I was like, I can’t believe I actually won a car.”

Landrie won her 2015 Toyota Camry after rolling up the rim on her large salted caramel latte earlier in February.

The second-year nursing student needed to answer a skill testing question in order to her new ride. Landrie was told she will be getting the car in the next four to six weeks.

She isn’t sure what to do with the car yet and is still working out how to pay her boyfriend back for buying her the winning cup at the McOrmond Drive location in Willowgrove.
