WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced the signing of three more players as they attempt to fill the vacancy at linebacker left by the departure of Ian Wild to the National Football League. American linebackers Rodney Lamar and Khalil Bass both agreed to join the blue and gold after completing their collegiate careers.

Lamar is just 23-years old and played one season at Florida Atlantic before transferring to Northern Michigan.  Bass, 24-years old, finished his college career at Portland State recording 122 tackles in his final 2 seasons.

Also agreeing to terms is 6 foot 4 receiver Tyrone Goard.  The 25-year old played last season in the Arena Football League with the Pittsburgh Power.  He made 29 catches with 18 touchdowns.

Goard was undrafted out of Eastern Kentucky but did spend some time at the camp of the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals in 2013. He ran a 4.5 second 40 yard dash at the 2013 NFL combine.
