TORONTO – Water flowing from a burst pipe shut down a portion of Toronto’s Queens Quay area early Tuesday morning.
Crews attended to the overhead pipe burst around 4 a.m. and managed to cap the leak an hour later.

However, westbound lanes from Lower Simcoe Street to Rees Street remain closed as a result of the water accumulation.
There’s no time frame when the road will reopen.
