CALGARY – Police are investigating a shooting outside a northeast nightclub.
It happened just after midnight on Friday in the parking lot of Jimmy’s Nightclub in the 1300 block of 33rd Street N.E.
Investigators say no one was injured when multiple shots were fired in an altercation outside of the club.
Because the bar was open at the time of the shooting, officers were able to speak to multiple witnesses who helped them track down two vehicles of interest.
One of the vehicles was found in the city’s west end, while the other was discovered in the downtown core.
Officers took people who were in both of the vehicles in for questioning, however, it’s unknown if they are considered suspects.
