EDMONTON — A man is recovering in hospital in Edmonton after a shooting near Lac La Biche.
RCMP responded to a call early Friday morning that a man had been shot. Officers say the incident happened at a rural location west of Lac La Biche.
Police believe an altercation happened between three men, which led to one of them being shot.
The victim was taken to the Lac La Biche Health Centre before being transported to an Edmonton hospital for treatment.
The victim, whose name has not been released, remains in hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police say the victim and the suspects are known to one another.
William Conrad Ingram, 24, and Markien Kunetsov, 20, are facing numerous charges including attempted murder. Both men were taken into custody. They are scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
