A 20-year-old male victim is in critical condition following a stabbing incident in New Westminster this afternoon, according to police.
The serious assault happened at about 2 p.m. today at the Adult Continuing Education Centre located at 1005 Columbia Street in New Westminster.

Few details have been released but police said the young man was rushed to Royal Columbian Hospital.
Witnesses told Global News the suspect fled on foot.
