A pedestrian hit almost two weeks ago at the intersection of Davie and Thurlow Street has died of his injuries, according to Vancouver police.
The 79-year-old man was struck by a van on the afternoon of Jan. 16 and taken to the hospital with a head injury.

The driver stayed at the scene of the accident and was cooperative with police investigators.
Speed and alcohol were not considered factors in the accident.
This is the second traffic related fatality in Vancouver in 2015.
