VERNON — She took the money and has probably spent it by now but little did she know she was caught on camera.
The unidentified woman is wanted for theft at an ATM in Vernon.
It happened back on October 5th at the Bank of Montreal on 32cd St. Where the owner of the bank card accidentally left it in the machine after making a cash withdrawal.
RCMP have managed to get their hands on the bank video which shows a heavy-set woman with a cigarette dangling from her mouth at the bank machine shortly after the man made the withdrawal.
Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying her because more money was taken out of the account. Police are not saying how much cash was taken.
They say the woman is a person of interest in the investigation.
If you recognize her, you’re asked to call Vernon RCMP.
