TORONTO- Toronto police say a man and a woman are in custody in connection with a brutal assault in the city’s west end.
Police say a 62-year old man was rushed to a trauma centre early this morning after being found without vital signs inside an apartment (St. Clair Ave West and Oakwood Ave).

The victim’s condition was listed as critical.
Investigators say the two suspects are both in their 20s.
No names have been released, and there’s word yet on the charges pending, or the motive for the attack.
