TORONTO- Toronto Police say a 19-year-old man was standing at a bus stop with his father, when he was shot during an altercation.

It happened in the Islington Ave. and Dixon Rd. area Wednesday night.

The teen was shot in his abdomen, and was rushed to hospital in serious condition. He is now in stable condition, his injuries are not considered life-threatening. His father did not suffer any injuries.

Officials say there are indications it may have been a robbery attempt, but aren’t able to confirm at this time.

Police say they’re looking for two suspects. They are both described as black males in their late teens or earlier twenties, and were last seen running south east of the area.
