Surrey RCMP are investigating an incident involving a 20-year-old female who was allegedly shot in the leg this morning.
At about 9:30 a.m. this morning, RCMP officers went to the 13700-block of 96th Avenue after a report of a female victim suffering from injuries. After arriving on the scene, they found the female victim suffering from a gunshot wound to her leg. The young woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Currently, police are unsure where the victim was allegedly shot.
The investigation is on-going.
