SASKATOON – A chimney fire in Saskatoon’s River Heights neighbourhood has caused $40,000 in damage. Firefighters were called to the home at 110 Saguenay Dr. just before 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Crews arrived to find a fire inside the wall behind the fireplace and smoke throughout the home. One person and a family pet were able to get out.
The fire was brought under control in three minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
