WINNIPEG – Strike another defeseman off the Jets’ roster with Grant Clitsome the latest player to find the trainers table.  Clitsome is listed as day to day with an upper body injury but it’s thought he’ll miss a couple of weeks.

Clitsome is just another player in a long list of injured Jets.  Tobias Enstrom, Jacob Trouba, Mark Stuart and Zach Bogosian are also on the mend.  But Bogosian, out with a lower body injury is getting closer and closer to a return.  He skated with the rest of his teammates during Monday’s game day skate.

“I’ve been skating with the other guys who have been injured and it feels nice to be back with the team.” said Bogosian.

The 24-year-old defenseman hasn’t played since getting hurt blocking a shot back on December 3 against the Edmonton Oilers but could return for the Jets upcoming road trip.

“I’m looking forward to you know just getting back into the swing of things.  Not that you don’t feel like part of the team but when you’re out of the lineup injured it’s no fun, but the guys have been playing well, so that’s fun to see.”

The Jets have also recalled defenseman Keaton Ellerby from the St. John’s IceCaps.  But he hasn’t played in a game since mid-November after suffering a blood clot in his hand.
