WINNIPEG – Hiring more midwives and providing support for new mothers are part of Theresa Oswald’s plan if she becomes Manitoba’s NDP leader.

At an announcement Sunday, she said she would establish a breast milk bank and improve breastfeeding support. She also would hire more than 20 midwives to support women with child birth.

She said she would like to have the breast milk bank completed in the next two years.
