REGINA – As holiday decorations are taken down and stowed away for the season, the city is reminding residents to use its Treecycle program.
City staff were on hand Saturday to help residents properly dispose of their old Christmas trees at four locations around Regina.
Residents are asked to remove any ornaments or wrapping from the trees before bringing it in to be recycled into tinsel mulch.
Drop off locations include; Superstore East (2055 Prince of Wales Drive), Joanne Goulet Golf Course (8045 Kestral Drive), Kinsmen Park South, (3310 Lakeview Avenue), and the landfill.
Staff will be on hand to assist getting trees into the recycle bins again on January 10th between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
