“I heard a police officer saying, everybody out of the house,” one man told Global News.

Police say the victim is a 35-year-old man, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

They say a suspect is still at large, but the general public is not at risk.

Neighbours say the home had recently been sold and they believe renters were now living in it.
