RCMP searching for suspect after robbery at Kelowna bank

KELOWNA – RCMP are investigating after a brazen robbery at the Bank of Montreal (BMO) in Kelowna’s Capri Shoping Mall on Harvey Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

Police say a man entered the bank armed with a knife and secured the doors with a plastic tie, before jumping over the tellers counter and demanding cash.

“As he departed, the suspect used the knife to cut the tie and took off on foot,” according to RCMP.
