REGINA – A 34-year-old man in Saskatchewan is facing charges that include dangerous and impaired driving after he was chased twice by the Mounties on the weekend.
R-C-M-P say officers were checking on a criminal harassment complaint in Lebret late Saturday night when a man fled in a vehicle that was allegedly stolen from Regina.
Safety concerns ended a brief chase of the suspect, but officers picked it up again and pursued the man for about an hour before a spike belt was used to flatten’s his vehicle’s tires.
He fled on foot but was caught in a wooded ravine.
