Seattle police are investigating after a number of baseball memorabilia items were stolen from Safeco Field last week.

Two of the items taken and still missing are a 1908 Vancouver/Spokane NWL championship inscribed baseball and a 1947 Vancouver Capilanos championship silver cigarette case.

Investigators say a man climbed over a fence around 4 a.m. on Thursday and broke glass display cases inside Safeco Field.

He then made off with bags of historic memorabilia.
