Missing Coquitlam woman not seen since July 4

VANCOUVER – A missing 37-year-old woman has not been seen since July 4 and Coquitlam RCMP are hoping the public can help find her.

Gladys Prudencio Ynzon, 37, was last seen at her Port Coquitlam home on July 4 but has not been seen since. Investigators have been checking in various neighbourhoods, with transit and area hospitals and have alerted the media, but Ynzon remains missing.

We don’t believe Ms. Ynzon has any family in the area,” said Cpl. Jamie Chung with Coquitlam RCMP. “At this point of the investigation, foul play is not suspected. She may not even be aware that she has been reported missing. We are asking for the public to help us locate her so that we know that she is safe.

Gladys Prudencio Ynzon is described as:

  • A 37 year-old Asian woman,
  • 4’11 tall and 132 lbs,
  • Brown eyes, and
  • Black shoulder length hair.

She was last seen wearing:

  • A white T-shirt, possibly with stripes on it,
  • Khaki shorts,
  • Black shoes, and
  • Glasses with thick lenses.
