MEMRAMCOOK, N.B. – New Brunswick RCMP have charged a daycare operator for alleged assaults against children under her care and an employee.
The Mounties allege the assaults happened between July and September at La couvee de la vallee daycare in Memramcook, about a 25-minute drive southeast of Moncton.
They say they began investigating complaints of inappropriate physical discipline involving three children at the daycare, which is no longer operating.
Police also allege that an employee was physically assaulted.
Celine Lang faces four counts of assault on children and one count of assault against an adult.
The 56-year-old Lang is due in Moncton provincial court on Feb. 11.
