TORONTO – One person has been arrested after a crash in east-end Toronto involving a bread truck that police say left the scene — apparently to finish its delivery.

Police say the Wonder Bread tractor-trailer truck hit a car carrying three people early yesterday, then proceeded on to a grocery store loading dock where it backed in to deliver its cargo.
Police say the three people in the car suffered serious injuries, but will survive.
No word yet on charges, however, police suspect alcohol may have played a role.
