VERNON – Vernon RCMP are looking for the driver of a vehicle who ran away from a serious crash Wednesday.
Two vehicles collided at about 5:30 p.m. at 39th Avenue and Alexis Park Drive.
The 44-year-old woman driving a Hyundai suffered serious injuries and is being transferred Thursday to Vancouver General Hospital.
Police say the driver of a Jeep fled the scene. He’s believed to be in his 20’s and very likely was also injured in the crash.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Vernon RCMP or leave a tip with Crime Stoppers.
