EDMONTON – A junior federal cabinet minister’s brother has been arrested in a drug bust.
Tim Uppal, minister of state for multiculturalism, says he found out about his brother’s arrest through the media.
Uppal, who is the MP for Edmonton-Sherwood Park, also says that anyone found guilty of drug offences should – quote – “face the full force of the law.”
Uppal’s brother was arrested with three other men after Edmonton police searched three houses last month and found drugs, guns, a Taser and cash.
