WATCH: Chinese man incredibly survives being run over three times

It’s hard to tell if the man seen in this video has the worst luck in the world, or the best.

Surveillance cameras in Kunshan City, China captured the unbelievable scene as a pedestrian is struck by a passing vehicle not once, not twice, but three consecutive times while trying to cross a busy street.

Yet incredibly, the man is expected to recover despite being hit three separate times.

The camera footage shows the man, identified in news outlets as Li, standing in the middle of a busy street in the eastern Chinese city.

With his back turned to one half of the highway, he is evidently unaware of the danger he’s in, as a closely-passing vehicle clips him before speeding off.

The man crumples to the ground holding his right leg, and while traffic going the opposite way stops, traffic in the lane he happens to have fallen in does not – and another speeding vehicle runs right over him.

By this point, passersby begin to gather around the stricken man, trying to hold back traffic from injuring him further.

Unfortunately, they’re only partially successful.

The next car to come along stops in time, but not the one behind it – this one hit the car that stopped, propelling it forwards, onto, and over the unfortunate pedestrian, who has now been run over three consecutive times.

Yet despite this hard to believe series of events, the man who was three times run over by speeding vehicles is resting up in hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.

CCTV is reporting that he suffered several fractures in his left leg, as well as six broken ribs.
