KELOWNA – The Mounties almost had their man in the Shuswap but he gave them the slip and now police are turning to the public for help in finding Vincent Lorne Massie.
Massie is wanted on two arrest warrants issued in Kelowna for resisting arrest, forcible confinement and assault.
The Kelowna RCMP Warrant Team tracked the Salmon Arm resident to a residence in Deep Creek near Salmon Arm.
But the 44-year-old fugitive fled when he spotted the officers and evaded a coordinated police effort to bring him into custody.
Massie is 5’5″ tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Massie is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
