HALIFAX – A driver has been ticketed after a 39-year-old man was struck by a car in a Halifax crosswalk early Monday morning.
Police responded at 6:45 a.m. after a man crossing Young Street was hit by a car turning left from Kempt Road.

The man suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
The driver of the car, a 59-year-old woman, was ticketed for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
