Ever heard of the Halifax Music Cooperative before? It’s a cool non-profit in our community that makes ensemble music to everybody in our city! Recently the Coop launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for more instruments to create an instrument library! The business was indeed a labour of love for Lisa Scott, born out of the adoption of her Ethiopian daughter. In an effort to learn more about her culture, Lisa discovered another passion for handmade, quality products, from the artisan community.
