If Halloween keeps you up late this weekend, you can get some of that sleep back when you change your clocks Sunday.
The annual end of daylight time in most of Canada comes at 2 a.m. on November 2.
Most people will want to reset their clocks as they go to bed Saturday evening, but sticklers can wait until 2 a.m. Sunday, when clocks should roll back to 1 a.m.
Fire departments across the country also encourage people to test their smoke detectors when they adjust their clocks.
While most of Canada observes daylight time, Saskatchewan and small areas of B.C., Ontario, Quebec and Nunavut do not.
Residents of Lloydminster, which straddles the Saskatchewan-Alberta border, are perhaps the only people who understand how to handle the clocks there.
