MONROVIA, Liberia – Liberia’s assistant minister of health says he agrees with a World Health Organization analysis that the rate of transmission of Ebola appears to be slowing in the West African nation.

Tolbert Nyenswah says the numbers of bodies officials are picking up off the street is decreasing, as are lab-confirmed cases of Ebola. Nyenswah said late Wednesday good progress is being made but that it’s too soon to celebrate.
