COLBORNE, Ont. – Police are asking for the public’s help in their investigation of vehicles apparently being shot at on Highway 401 in Eastern Ontario.
The OPP say the driver of a vehicle travelling westbound on the highway on Aug. 22 near Colborne, east of Cobourg, heard a bang, and found a small hole.
No one was injured.
Northumberland OPP say another motorist was eastbound on the 4-0-1 near Colborne on Aug. 24 and also heard a gunshot, but there was no damage.
There was another similar incident on the 401 in Quinte West on Oct. 13, when the driver of a stopped eastbound vehicle heard a gunshot, but again, there was no damage.
Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact the OPP.
