KELOWNA — A cyclist struck in Kelowna last week has been transported to Vancouver for treatment.
“The cyclist’s injuries remain serious. She has since been moved to Vancouver to begin her recovery process,” says Sgt. Patricia Cook with the Kelowna RCMP.

The incident shut down Pandosy Street for hours while a dozen emergency vehicles responded to the collision.
The woman’s mangled bicycle could be seen laying on the sidewalk and several investigators were looking underneath a large Canadian Springs truck believed to be involved in the crash.
There is no word on if any charges are pending.
