The RCMP officer facing charges in connection with an incident involving sex in a holding cell at the Kamloops RCMP detachment in 2010 has had his charges dismissed.
Crpl. Rick Brown was in charge of the detachment in August 2010 when two drunk female inmates had sex in a holding cell.
Brown was facing a charge of breach of trust for allegedly inviting other officers to watch the act on a closed-circuit monitor. One of the women later claimed to be HIV-positive.
This morning a supreme court judge found Brown not guilty of breach of trust.
