EDMONTON — A man is in hospital after being stabbed in the neck at an outdoor drinking party early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the party, in the area of 118 Avenue and 84 Street, around 3:30 a.m.

The victim, who police say is in his 20s or 30s, is expected to survive.
The Edmonton Police Service is currently interviewing witnesses. Staff Sgt. Malcolm Allan says the stabbing does not appear to be a random act.
No one is in custody at this point.
