SAINT JOHN – Police in Saint John have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with an assault that seriously injured a man.
Officers were called Saturday to the Saint John Regional Hospital to investigate an assault against a 22-year-old man.

Few details have been released, but police say the assault did not occur at the hospital.
The victim remains in hospital but is expected to make a full recovery.
Police have said the incident is not believed to be random.
