KELOWNA — Hundreds of high energy, highly motivated high school students from all across Canada have descended on the Okanagan. They’re here for five days of workshops, networking and inspiration at the Canadian Student Leadership Conference. The 840 not-so-average students from every province and territory are here to grow, learn and have some fun. Through the course of the week students will take in amazing keynote speakers, workshop opportunities and leadership experiences.
“This conference is all about bringing together student leaders who want to make a difference and they’re from all across Canada and we’ve got them all in one spot to inspire them” said Norm Bradley, one of the conference organizers. The students will take what they learn in Kelowna, and share it with other students at their own high schools when they return home.
