REGINA – A 21 year-old Regina woman is facing attempted murder charges after allegedly stabbing another woman last Wednesday.
Police were called to the 2900 block of 13th Avenue after a 49 year-old woman was apparently stabbed and taken to hospital with serious injuries.
After police were able to gather key information about the suspect, the investigation led police to the 2000 block of Robinson Street where they located and arrested her.
The suspect was taken to hospital for assessment since she appeared to be heavily intoxicated (potentially) by various substances.
Twenty-one year-old Collen Dawn Piapot of Regina is charged with Attempted Murder and Breach Of Recognizance. She made her first court appearance Monday morning.
