WINNIPEG – A truck driver has been charged with a driving offense after a 6-vehicle crash east of Winnipeg.
RCMP say five cars and a semi-trailer collided on Highway 15 between the Perimeter Highway and Deacon Road at about 8 a.m.
Mounties warned morning rush hour drivers to avoid the area while the huge mess was cleaned up.
One occupant from one of the cars was taken to hospital with what police say were “non-life threatening injuries.”
The driver of the semi is charged with Imprudent Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
