SASKATOON – Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for the southern half of Saskatchewan.
A ridge of high pressure will slide eastward across southern Saskatchewan Saturday night bringing clear skies and light winds. As a result, overnight temperatures are expected to dip below freezing in many areas.
Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.
These advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to the reach freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential crop damage.
