VERNON, B.C. – An abandoned house in the 3800 block of 30th Avenue was targeted early Friday morning by an arsonist, according to the Vernon Fire Department.
The house was targeted earlier this year as well.
The call came in to 911 around 12:30 Friday and the flames were quickly doused.
Both fire officials and Vernon RCMP are investigating.
Arson fires around Vernon began in the spring and have targeted garbage, abandoned buildings, RV’s and the racetrack grandstand at Kin Park.
